Which of your data do we process? And for what purposes?

If we receive data from you, we will only process it for the purposes for which we have received or collected it.

These purposes are usually:

Establishment and implementation of an employment relationship in the course of an application procedure, on your own initiative or for advertised positions.

This data is usually

• First name/surname
• Your address
• Date of birth
• Telephone number
• E-mail address
• Earliest start date
• Qualification papers

Data processing for other purposes will only be considered if the necessary legal requirements pursuant to Art. 6 (4) GDPR are met. In this case, we will of course comply with any information obligations.

What is the legal basis for data processing?

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is generally Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 (1) sentence 1 BDSG. In the event of a positive decision on your application, the personal data will be included in our personnel file and used for the purposes of the “employee administration” procedure. If your application is not successful, it will be deleted after six months at the latest. If you have given your consent, we will store your data in our applicant pool so that we can consider you directly for a suitable vacancy in the future. You can revoke your consent to this at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 sentence 1 GDPR. How long will the data be stored?

The personal data collected will be stored in the event of

1. Cancellation: stored for at least three months. The longest storage period is again a maximum of six months.
2. Recruitment: our retention periods for employees apply. The information to which you are entitled will be provided to you when you are hired.

To which recipients is the data passed on?

Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties.

Where is the data processed?

Your personal data is processed by us exclusively in the European Union, so that the General Data Protection Regulation applies to the processing at all times.

Your rights as a “data subject”

You have the right to information about the personal data we process about you.
In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may require proof from you that you are the person you claim to be.
Furthermore, you have a right to rectification or erasure or to restriction of processing, insofar as you are legally entitled to do so.
You also have the right to object to processing within the scope of the statutory provisions. The same applies to the right to data portability.
